The man came home tired from work and saw his sister in the living room with her friends, watching a movie and laughing loudly. Various kinds of fast food were spread out on the table. Looking at his sister, he asked:
“Where is Diana?”
His sister, eating popcorn, replied indifferently:
“In the kitchen.”
The man went to the kitchen and saw his seven-month pregnant wife washing the dishes. At that moment, his sister shouted from the living room:
“Diana! I asked you for a wather—where is it?”
The man stopped angrily, then slowly turned around and went back to the living room…
He walked into the living room in complete silence.
His sister was still laughing with her friends, not even looking at him.
“Did you ask my pregnant wife to serve you?” he said coldly.
She rolled her eyes.
“Oh please… she’s home all day anyway.”
The room went silent.
The man slowly stepped to the table, grabbed all the fast food boxes, and dumped them straight into the trash bag beside the couch.
His sister jumped up.
“Are you crazy?!”
He looked at her with a calm face.
“No. But you’re about to learn respect.”
Then he turned to her friends.
“You’re welcome to stay… if you help clean the kitchen.”
The girls awkwardly stood up.
His sister shouted:
“You can’t embarrass me like this in front of everyone!”
At that moment, Diana appeared in the doorway, holding her stomach in pain.
The man rushed to her.
“What happened?”
She whispered weakly:
“I think… the baby is coming.”
Everyone froze.
The sister’s face turned pale as the man lifted his wife into his arms.
While carrying her out, he looked once more at his sister and said:
“Now clean this house… before we bring your nephew home.”
